Furman University

Greek-letter social organizations at Furman University offer a great way to be involved in campus life, meet new people, and participate in community service activities. Furman follows a "Deferred Recruitment" schedule, wherein the official recruitment of new members occurs in the Spring semester, rather than the Fall semester, in order to give students a chance to become better integrated into campus life before making the decision to join a fraternity or sorority.
