Office of the Vice President for Student Life
The Office for the Vice President of Student Life is responsible for the management and oversight of the 10 deparments and programs which make up the Division of Student Life: Career Services, Counseling Center, Greek Life, Health Services, Housing and Residence Life, Leadership, Multicultural Affairs, Recreational Sports, Student Conduct and the University Center & Student Activities. The Office is also responsible for coordinating crisis and intervention strategies for students in need and working closely with families. The philosophy of the department is “students first, students last,” ensuring that the programs and services provided center around making the student experience at Furman distinctive, educational, developmental and enjoyable.
