Want to go into the medical profession? Get some experience with us. We have volunteer and paid internship positions to help you get your clinical hours or just learn more about the medical field.
Most of our students have taken pre-med classes or participated in a medical program, but we accept any major to help us in the clinic. We'll train you and give you duties based on your experience and goals. You can expect to spend at least four hours per week working in the clinic, but that number may increase if you're working in a for-credit or paid internship.
After we train you in the privacy procedures you need to follow to work in health services, but you’ll be able to work closely with our physicians, nurses, and residents and shadow them throughout the day. Not only will you learn valuable skills, like how to take basic vitals and interact with the patients, you’ll also have the chance to ask any questions you have about working in the medical field.
