Financial facts
Eligibility for treatment-
Health Services offers comprehensive healthcare to all
registered undergraduate students. Graduate students are not
eligible for treatment and are referred to area physicians.
All
undergraduate students are required to have a medical
history and immunization record on file in the Student Health Office.
Fees for service-
Assessment and treatment in the Infirmary is provided free
of charge with the exception of a few lab tests and
immunization injections listed in Fee-For-Service Schedule
available upon request.

Payment responsibility -
Non-payment on an account will result in that student’s
records being flagged. Flagged records prohibit registration
and readmission, and result in the withholding of
transcripts. Flagged records will be released when the account
is paid in full.
Student insurance is available
United Healthcare Insurance Company offers an annual health
care plan for students. For more information regarding this plan, call
1-800-767-0700.
All international students are required to have health insurance while attending Furman University.
