Greek life

Greek Life at Furman University totals over 1,200 members, making up over 50% of the overall student body. Those members are part of 14 various Greek organizations recognized on campus. All of the chapters have their own rituals, traditions, and philanthropies, but they all strive to live by common principles and values, which enriches the student experience on campus. Our fraternities and sororities begin recruitment in the spring to give you a chance to get settled, make new friends and adjust academically before making a life-long commitment to an organization.
