Life at Furman

At Furman, something fun is always happening. Students are zooming between classes, chatting in the Trone Student Center, researching in labs, debating in the open air, hanging by the lake, hustling on the athletic fields, and using the campus as a living classroom. In other words, you'll find a campus full of energy when you get here. Learn how you can be a part of it.

If you are not married or planning to live with your parents or guardians, you are required to live in one of our residence halls. Be sure to review our policies regarding housing requests and roommate matching, and learn what you'll need to bring to campus on move-in day. Get ready to live at Furman.

Ready for a culinary experience? Our chefs offer a variety of flavors to satisfy any craving. Keep in mind first-year students are required to purchase an unlimited meal plan.
