Counseling Center Furman University

College life is exciting, challenging, and rewarding. But sometimes the challenges, pressures, and responsibilities can seem overwhelming. It's not uncommon to feel you need help. In fact, it's estimated that in any given year one in four adults will experience a condition that would benefit from counseling. That's why we offer a variety of counseling services to our students.

Our definition of mental health is broad and we're able to help with a wide range of problems. You might be feeling depressed, experiencing academic stress or anxiety, or problems in a relationship. Our welcoming staff and confidential services have helped many students succeed at Furman.
