Furman University Counseling Center

Counseling Services

College life can be exciting, challenging and rewarding. It is a time of learning, change and growth. At times you may feel that this is the best period of your life. At other times, coping with the pressures and responsibilities and dealing with the stress can seem overwhelming.

Given the amount of stress and the fast pace of the college years, it is not surprising that counseling is an increasingly used campus resource. The Counseling Center offers mental health services to students with a variety of difficulties that might affect academic work, relationships or overall sense of well-being.
