Sustainability Planning Council Furman University

The Sustainability Planning Council was created in 2005 to oversee and encourage the university's sustainability efforts. The council plays a critical role in advancing sustainability efforts by helping implement the university's sustainability plan and documenting the efforts made by Furman.

The council is currently co-chaired by political science and earth and environmental science professor Angela Halfacre, who is the director of the Shi Center for Sustainability, and earth and environmental science professor Bill Ranson.
