Furman Farm
Located adjacent to the David E. Shi Center for Sustainability, our 1/4-acre farm teaches our students and community how to develop sustainable and healthy food options. Volunteers work with students to gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and small-scale food production. During the growing season, our volunteers sell produce through their Community Supported Agriculture program and at the Randy Blackwell Farm Stand on Mondays from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. We encourage community members and students to volunteer and to learn about sustainable agriculture at one of the farm’s open volunteer days.
