Affording a Furman education
We recognize the significant investment your family makes to attain a Furman education. We also know that the process for applying for and assessing financial aid can be daunting. That's why we are committed to working with you and your family from the beginning of your exploration into Furman.

annual cost is to attend Furman.
To be considered for any need-based financial assistance, students must complete
the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If your student is a freshman, they are also required to complete the
CSS Profile. Financial aid packages usually have a combination of Furman need-based grants and/or merit-based scholarships, federal/state grants and loans, and work-study. Be sure to review the
deadlines for these forms.
Many students also apply for scholarships administered by agencies and organizations outside of Furman by using online resources like
fastweb.com,
finaid.org, and the
College Board.
