The Annual Performance Evaluation is a comprehensive tool for supervisors to evaluate a staff member's performance during a review period and identify objectives for personal development. It is intended to facilitate meaningful communication between a supervisor and a staff member regarding the supervisor's performance expectations and the staff member's work, individual and departmental goals, and the staff member/supervisor relationship. Additionally, it is intended to identify individual and departmental goals, as well as professional development objectives of the staff member.
The performance evaluation process will be completed in Workday. This process provides for an active exchange of ideas between supervisor and staff member, participation by staff members in crafting their respective goals, and an improved means of gathering feedback.
Directions for using Workday for the annual performance evaluations will be available April 1, 2019.
