Faculty Constitution Description

Article V., Sec. 5, (r) Study Away Committee. This committee is responsible for working with the administration and academic departments to develop and maintain study away programs. It shall also review affiliated and student exchange programs. In addition, it shall report and make recommendations to the faculty on the availability, affordability, and academic quality of the University’s study away programs.

How to Submit a Study Away Proposal

  • All new Study Away proposals must be developed in consultation with Kailash Khandke, Director of the Office for Study Away and International Education. 
  • Visit the Study Away Moodle. On your first visit, you will be asked if you wish to enroll in the course. Once you do so, you will have access to the site. There is a link to the required forms as well as an area for uploading those forms and any supporting documentation. 
  • Notify your department chair that you intend to submit a Study Away proposal. 
  • Observe the proposal deadlines.

Upon approval of the Study Away experience, individual academic courses must be submitted to the Curriculum Committee.
