Academic Discipline Committee
Annual Report 2012-13

The Academic Discipline Committee held three hearings through the 2012-2013 school year. One of these hearing was carried over from spring 2012. There is at least one pending case this year and the possibility of more before the end of the semester. The committee also reviewed 14 other cases (7 cheating and 7 plagiarism), which did not require a hearing.

The committee met three additional times to discuss changes to policy 190.6 and 121.5. The proposed changes to these policies fill gaps in existing policy as well as change the amount of time an instance of academic integrity remains on file.

Members of the committee consisted of Gretchen Braun, Tim Hanks, Jason Jones, Caroline Mills, Roger Sneed, Judy Stuart, Lane Harris, Kolawole Olaiya, Mason Castles, Steven Tagart, McKay Kever, and Brian Boda.

Respectfully submitted,
Jason Jones, Chair
Academic Disciple Committee
