Our Facilities Center for Corporate and Professional Development Furman University

From state-of-the-art classrooms to quiet spaces for study and reading, the Herring Center for Continuing Education is designed to support conversation and promote personal and intellectual growth. 

Named for graduates Sarah and Gordon Herring of Greenville, the Herring Center is home to all of Furman’s Continuing Education departments including the Center for Corporate and Professional Development, Bridges to a Brighter Future, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), and Undergraduate Evening Studies. This 22,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility is located adjacent to the Younts Conference Center and across from Timmons Arena.

With ample and convenient parking, the Herring Center has nine high-tech classrooms, a teaching kitchen, social space, and a unified administrative area for continuing education departments.
