Welcome to the Furman University
Child Development Center

The mission of the Furman Child Development Center is to provide project based, hands-on early childhood education to the families of Furman University and the surrounding community in a safe and nurturing environment with highly qualified and passionate staff who model responsibility, respect, and empathy for others, realize that children learn in different ways and at different rates, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.  The CDC is a school for children from age 3 through kindergarten.

“The CDC is a place of loving and nurturing teachers, creative play and development, but it is foremost a place for learning.”
