Academic Assistance
The Office of Academic Assistance is dedicated to helping Furman University Students succeed academically. Our services include:
- Tutoring for ALL Furman students (free of charge)
- Counseling/advising for ALL Furman students in all areas of academic concern. This includes but is not limited to:
- Time Management
- Study Skills
- Note Taking
- Textbook Reading
- Test Taking Strategies
- Test Anxiety
- Comprehensive academic support for Furman athletes, including study hall, tutoring, academic counseling, and acquainting athletes and recruits with Furman's academic support resources.
In Academic Assistance, we pride ourselves on being friendly and helpful. We love to see students, so please stop by our office anytime!
You can find us on the bottom floor of the Library, room 040. We are on the north side of the building in the hallway behind the help desk.
