Kristin Willeford, ATC, SCAT
Staff Athletic Trainer
Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in
Athletic Training from Oklahoma State University in 2011. She completed her Master of Science in
Athletic Training in 2015 from Illinois State University. Kristin completed her Graduate Assistant
residency at Illinois State in 2015, where she served as a Clinical Instructor
for the athletic training program. Prior
to returning to school to complete her graduate work, she served as an Industrial
Athletic Health Specialist with Concentra.
In this position she created and implemented ergonomic programs and
assessments to improve the overall wellness of the employees at the
company. She was also responsible for
creating an effective industrial athlete program. She has extensive experience
in the evaluation and treatment of work related injuries as well as the
treatment and rehabilitation of injuries associated with contact and collision
sports. Kristin holds additional
certification in Graston manual therapy techniques. Kristin’s primary sport responsibility is
with the football team. She is also
responsible for the cheerleading squad.
Administratively she oversees the student assistant’s program for the
Sports Medicine department.
