Conferences for Student Groups
We will begin moving students to Office365 in March, once everyone returns from Spring Break. At that time your ability to send emails from FirstClass will end, you will not be able to send an email to the conference from within Office365, and your ability to be a controller of the FirstClass conference will also end. Thus, the quicker you make the move to OrgSync, the better!
The First Class conferences will not completely go away until Dec. 31, 2012, but you will have to login to FirstClass to view the contents of the conference. You will be able to respond to email from within the conference and you can compose new posts to the conference from within the conference, but this can be a great hassle in the long run.
Move to OrgSync now and avoid the craziness! Training opportunities for using OrgSync are available on an ongoing basis, with online webinars sponsored every Thursday at 4pm, as well as personal help from the Dean of Fun, J. Scott Derrick, as needed. Other opportunities are posted in OrgSync and in Student News.
