McAlister Auditorium is an educational and cultural resource for Furman University and the Greenville community. We host a wide range of events from music and dance performances to business meetings and political debates. The auditorium’s technical features and professional staff make it one of the most sought-after venues in Greenville.
We accept reservations from the community on a first-come, first-serve basis. We have a knowledgeable technical staff to oversee your event.

McAlister Auditorium is Furman's flagship venue for concerts, cultural events, and major university events. Between November and December, we give Furman priority in scheduling events. Other dates are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be sure to resolve any interdepartmental scheduling conflicts before you submit your request.

Be aware that we reserve the auditorium on a first-come, first-serve basis and your reservation is not secure until you have submitted your $1,000 nonrefundable deposit and our agreement for use contract. Additional fees and your insurance certificate need to be completed within 30 days of your event. If you cancel your event at least three weeks in advance, we will reimburse you.
