Instructor Teaching Agreement
Your teaching agreement is sent via email; please review, print, sign and return to our office. Please be sure to keep a copy for your records. You may return the signed agreement via fax to 294-3378 or postal mail to Furman University, Continuing Education, Learning for You, 3300 Poinsett Highway, Greenville, SC 29613.
Payments are made during the month your class in which your class ends. Your signed instructor teaching agreement must be returned to our office 3 days prior to the start of your class.
For all instructors whose teaching agreements list the pay account number ending in 82350, a W-9 form must be updated annually and be on file with Furman University's Finance Department. Please return a completed form if you are not sure about the status of your most recent form. Click on the link below for a printable form.
Background Check Waiver
A parking permit must be displayed on your dashboard while parked on the Furman University campus; please observe all campus regulations.
Computer Access / AV Equipment
If you need computer access or audio-visual equipment for your course , you must complete the appropriate forms below and return via fax to 294-3378 or mail to Furman University, Continuing Education, Learning for You, 3300 Poinsett Highway, Greenville, SC 29613.
Computer Access - if you would like a user name and password for computer access on campus, you must fill out the Computer Access Form by clicking here.
Audio-Visual Request - if you need audio-visual equipment for your class, you must fill out the Audio Visual Request Form by clicking here.
If you would like audio-visual equipment training, please call Donna Rogers at 294-2153 and we will try to arrange for assistance 30 minutes prior to your class.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your class start time. Assume your class has materialized unless notified by Learning for You staff otherwise. You are welcome to call to check on enrollment numbers.
It is very important that you take attendance at the first session of your course. If there are students in your class who are not on the roster and have not registered, instruct them to contact our office. Only registered participants may attend class.
In case of inclement weather (ice, snow) cancellations will be broadcast on major radio and TV stations. You may also call our winter storm information number at 294-3766.
Cancelled classes must be made up if at all possible, and are usually added to the end of the series. Please coordinate with Donna Rogers at 294-2153 to confirm room availability prior to notifying students of the make-up session.

Instructional Support Services
Photocopying is provided one-week prior to your scheduled class session. Also, please submit to us for our file copies of any class handouts distributed. The library (294-2191) is open seven days a week, except during holidays, and is available for your use.
