Visitors
Welcome to Furman University. The Information Technology Services staff at Furman University are happy to provide technology help while you are visiting our campus.
In order to provide a more secure campus network, Furman University requires a Furman network ID and password to use the campus network. Visitors needing network access while on campus may have a Furman faculty or staff member contact the IT Service Center to obtain a guest account. Such guest accounts provide Internet access, but have limited access to campus services and typically expire after a day.
Summer groups, camps, conferences, and official library groups should complete the Furman Programs Account Request Form (pdf). Completed forms should be returned to the IT Service Center. Volunteers, research associates, consultants, vendors and contractors who need extended access to the Furman network may contact the IT Service Center to request a Visitor Account Request Form.
Please contact the IT Service Center at 864-294-3277 if you have any questions about Furman information technology.
