Who We Are
Andrea Wright understands the stresses of a Furman science student – she was once one herself. After completing her B.S. in Chemistry at Furman, Andrea completed her Masters of Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina. She returned to Furman as Science Librarian in the fall of 2010. Have a question? Ask Andrea!
The Science Library could not operate without our dedicated student assistants. They keep the collection circulating, the supplies filled, and doors open. Responsible students who would like to work in the Science Library are welcome to contact us about employment opportunities.
What We Do
We enable and enhance the information experience of Furman’s science community by providing relevant resources, expert services, and inviting environments. By bridging the physical and the online, the classroom and the lab, and the students and the faculty, the Science Library strengthens engaged learning across Furman.
