Library Statistics
During the 2011-2012 academic year the Libraries:
- Provided access to over 595,000 volumes
- Added over 11,000 new items to the collection
- Provided access to over 50,000 music, video, and multimedia items
- Provided access to over 130,000 journals (both electronic and print) and over 40 million full-text articles.
- Provided access to over 260,000 e-books and online encyclopedias
- Provided access to over 200 research databases
- Provided access to over 700 periodicals in print
- Provided access to over 140 computers in the Libraries and adjoining labs
In the 2011-2012 academic year students, faculty, and others:
- Visited the library website over 795,000 times
- Visited library facilities over 420,000 times
- Checked out over 45,000 books, DVDs and other items
- Received over 6,300 items through Interlibrary Loan and PASCAL Delivers
- Asked over 2,600 reference questions
- Attended library instruction classes 2,291 times in 216 sessions
Library personnel included:
- 12 library faculty
- 17 library staff
- 72 student assistants
