Tuition Exchange and Associated Colleges of the South
Furman University participates in the Tuition Exchange program and the Associated Colleges of the South program. Here you will find frequently asked questions and answers about these programs.
How do I apply?
The process begins with your home institution. Your parent must complete an application with their Human Resources department. There is no paperwork to complete with Furman. Once your institution approves your application, Furman will be notified of your eligibility.
Is it competitive?
It is very competitive to receive TE/ACS here at Furman. We receive an average of 70 TE applications for three or four spots annually. We receive an average of 10 ACS applications for one spot annually.
When will I be notified?
All decisions will be made in April 2013. You
may apply to Furman under either the Early Decision plan, Early Action
Plan, or Regular Decision plan. Please note, if you apply Early
Decision/Early Action your financial aid package will be adjusted in
April if you are a TE/ACS recipient.
How much can I receive?
TE recipients will receive $31,500; ACS recipients will receive the cost of tuition.
