Furman Alumni
Furman alumni can be found on six

here are a few examples of what they've been up to:

term.)
- John Broadus Watson revolutionized psychology and became known as "the father of behavioral psychology."

- Charles Townes won the Nobel Prize in Physics for his role in the invention of the laser. (You can thank him for CD players.)

- Baron Hill serves in the United States Congress as a representative from Indiana.
- LPGA Hall of Famers Besty King and Beth Daniel and PGA star Brad Faxon are among the Furman's 11 touring professional golfers.
