Multicultural Student Evening
Building community
Our students discuss how Furman pulls everyone together into a community.
Furman University is a community of learning enriched by the wide variety of experiences and perspectives of its students, faculty, and staff. Furman University thus embraces diversity as an implicit value and as an explicit practice in all of its endeavors.
Multicultural Student Evening is our way of offering students and families a tangible experience of a community that upholds the inherent worth of individuals in an atmosphere of mutual respect, trust, and civility.
All accepted multicultural students and their families are invited to stay the night of Friday, April 20, as our guest for the Multicultural Student Evening, featuring opportunities to become more familiar with the campus, enjoy dinner with current students, faculty, and staff, and share experiences with your new classmates in all walks of life from across the country and around the world.
We hope you will join us.
