Furman offers degrees from more than 40 fields of study. Before declaring a major, you can take up to 70 credit hours in different subjects.

You’ll engage in real research in superior facilities and present your own papers at national conferences—all under the mentorship of Furman professors. Furman receives research grants from funding agencies including the Library of Congress, NASA, the Mellon Foundation, and the Howard Hughes Medical Foundation.
