Furman University provides anything but a confined experience. From implementing faculty-led study away programs
to creating a welcoming home for international students, the David and Leighan Rinker Center for Study Away and International Education will expose you to a wide variety of cultures, experiences, ideas and people.
Every year, we help our students pursue
academic research and interdisciplinary studies—both within the United States and abroad. We offer study away programs in more than 30 countries, covering regions such as southern Africa and east Asia.
On campus, we support our international students by helping them adjust to life in the United States. We host a number of events and activities throughout the year, connecting international students with a campus community that represents more than 50 countries.
Simply put, we shape informed and active citizens of the world.
Faculty-led study away programs ensure you will receive a quality education while traveling off campus. Take a study away course.
