  • Current disciplinary research interests

My research focuses on the intersections of gender, information and communication technologies/media and social justice. My work explores social inequity, and the appropriation, use and impact of digital technologies in the global South.

  • Interest in connecting sustainability to research

I am interested in collaborative research projects that look at the intersection of mass media, digital media and sustainability. I am also interested in interdisciplinary research that looks at how sustainability messages are communicated, framed and reported in the media, as well as by institutions and non-profit organizations. I am looking for ways to collaborate on research on digital tools (internet, video, mobile, social media, etc.), sustainability and global justice. I apply both qualitative and quantitative approaches in my research.
