We'll take a peek at the Animal Behavior Lab.
Dr. Batson is helping students observe their chick during their afternoon lab session. Dr. Batson is another psychology department professor who has received the Meritorious Teaching Award at Furman. He teaches General Psychology, Experimental Psychology, and Animal Behavior. Dr. Batson's research focuses on the evolution of learning. He is especially interested in food-aversion in rats and odor-conditioning in honeybees.
