Carrier, Amy
After graduation I completed my Master's in Marriage and Family therapy
at ETSU and was at long last a therapist! I have been working since
then. First, in a community mental health clinic in Bristol, TN with
children and adolescents. Currently, for Camelot Care in Kingsport,
TN. Camelot is an agency that trains therapeutic foster parents for
children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems. Each
child is assigned an in-home therapist (that's where I come in) who
spends about three hours per week with each child. I have really enjoyed
this job. However! On to more learning in Fall of 2006 at UNC Greensboro's
doctoral program in Counselor Educaion which I am very excited about!
Almost as exciting is the fact that I am running a half marathon at
the end of April. Other than that I'm just having a lot of fun in my
mind-twenties-favorite age yet!
