Norman, Sara
I attended the physician assistant program at MUSC in Charleston, SC
from 2001-2003. I married Chandler Todd in May of 2004, and we now live
in Greenwood, SC, where he is a family medicine resident. I currently
work at a private family medicine practice in Saluda, SC as a physician
assistant, and I must say that my psychology (and psychiatry) education
comes in very handy!

I received my Master's in Clinical Psychology at Loyola College in Baltimore
in 2003 and have been working as a psychometrist for the past two years
in Atlanta. I decided to go back to school and now am a doctoral student
at Argosy/Atlanta in Clinical Psychology. My concentration will be Child
and Family, and I hope to work with children with developmental and learning
disabilities.

Groce, Kristina
After I graduated from Furman, I earned my Masters Degree in Psychology
from Wake Forest University and entered the School Psychology doctoral
program at North Carolina State University. Working with Dr. Ann
Schulte, I researched and began to develop innovative progress
monitoring assessments of early literacy skills. I completed a 12-month
internship in School Psychology with Virginia Beach City Public Schools
and received my Doctorate in May of 2009. In August of 2009, I married
my fellow NCSU grad, Dr. Benjamin Brown, who is an assistant professor
of Psychology (developmental) at the University of Arkansas -
Monticello.
Opportunity: I'm not able to provide
experiences for Furman students at this time, but I'd be happy to tell
interested students about the field of School Psychology. Feel free to
email me at kristinag@aol.com.
