From Johannesburg to Cape Verde Island, explore both the political and natural climates of the southern portion of the continent.  Winter 2007 led by Don Gordon and Erik Ching.

Live and work in the capital of Europe!  Students also have the opportunity to travel and take classes at Vesalius College.

Explore China's rich diversity, from the bustling financial and political capitals of Shanghai and Beijing to remote poverty and minority regions in Guizhou.



Europe East of the Rhine-Fall 2011
Political Transformations and Nation-Building in Central and Eastern Europe: Resistance, Repression, and Remembrance. Travel destinations include Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, and Austria. Informational Meetings:

 
Fall Term in the British Isles 2011
Take a tour of literary and cultural sites in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England, ending with a six-week stay in London.


 
Farm, May X 2013
Learn how agricultural practices and policies have an impact on our daily lives by traveling to a 200-acre commodity corn and soybean farm in North Central Iowa.


 
Latin America-Spring 2012 
Learn about health and medical practices, contemporary politics, U.S. foreign policy, and globalization in Mexico (or Cuba), Guatemala, Nicaragua, and El Salvador.


 
The Scandinavia Program - Past Program (May X, 2009)
Visit Washington DC, Norway, Sweden and Denmark while exploring differences in politics and public policy. This is a May Experience study abroad program.


 
The Washington Experience - Spring & Summer, 2012 & 2013
Work for a congressman, intern on capital hill, and rub elbows with Washington elite. The DC program lets you do it all while still earning course credit.
