The best way to learn about our program is to visit our beautiful campus. Once here, you’ll be able to picture yourself as a musician at Furman. You're invited to observe an ensemble, tour our spectacular facilities, and become a student for a day. You will find the Furman family informative, friendly, responsive and welcoming. Here you will meet your future mentors and colleagues. Come immerse yourself in the beauty of this stunning campus and musical opportunities within this vibrant city.
Classroom visit
When school is in session, classes are available for observation. Potential music majors are invited to observe 1-3 music classes, an ensemble rehearsal and talk with a faculty member. If you are considering a
performance degree, you may request one sample lesson to supplement your faculty chat. Non majors are welcome to observe an ensemble rehearsal and talk with the students/director afterwards. When you schedule your visit via the Admissions Welcome Center, let them know your instrument and degree interest so they can personalize your visit. Be sure to give us
two weeks notice so that we can make arrangements with our faculty!
