Lyric Music Theatre Furman University

Ready to take center stage? Our lyric theatre program showcases full productions each year, featuring undergraduates in the lead roles, chorus and orchestra. Our students prepare for a career in opera by receiving professional coaching and stage direction. All performances are in English.

Recent productions include Mozart's Don Giovanni and Marriage of Figaro, Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady, and Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance and The Mikado.

The group is open to majors and non-music majors, but auditions are required. For more information, contact Bruce Schoonmaker.
