As a member of the National Association of Schools of Music, Furman Music is accredited to offer the Bachelor of Music degree in performance, composition, music education,  music theory and church music. You may also pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in music, which offers flexibility for a major/minor combo program or in some cases, a double major.  As your degree intensifies and classes become more specialized, our courses become smaller, providing more individual time to work with faculty at a deeper level. At Furman, you are mentored by highly-skilled faculty, not graduate students.
