Tim Easter is a highly experienced performer who instructs students in double bass. He serves as principal double bass of the Greenville Symphony and Chamber Orchestra as well as principal bass for the South Carolina Philharmonic and Lyra Vivace Chamber Orchestra. He is also a member of numerous regional orchestras throughout the Southeast.

As a double bass performance graduate of Furman, Easter has served as an adjunct professor of double bass at the University of South Carolina as well as an instructor at Furman. He has worked bassists Edgar Meyer, Hal Robinson and Timothy Pitts.
