Music Degrees

An accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Music since1937, Furman offers Bachelor of Music degrees in performance, church music, music education, composition and music theory. Students may also earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in music, which allows course flexibility and double major options. B.A.s in Music are considered Music Majors.

Ensembles

Yes!  Skilled non-music majors are welcome in all of our ensembles. 
All involve some form of audition to verify your skill level and to determine part / seat placement. 
Ensemble placement auditions take place in the Fall and Spring.  LEARN MORE.
