Undergraduates at Furman enjoy Health Sciences resources that
are unparalleled for a college of our size. We have a large, well-equipped
fitness center and two laboratories devoted to research into human performance.
Visitors from more than 40 states and five continents have travelled to the
campus to receive fitness testing in the Molnar Human Performance laboratory.
Furman Health Sciences students also have research
opportunities not available at larger universities, where graduate students primarily conduct most of the research. This opportunity provides our students with the added benefit of a mentoring relationship with a full-time professor whose focus is
on undergraduate instruction.
Our Health Sciences programs are designed to help our
students launch health-related careers and to gain admission to graduate and
