Furman University offers a summer program for students
between the ages of 6 and 14 with academic or behavioral needs. The
summer programs provides an individualized educational program; a low
teacher-students ratio; innovative, but also sound educational
practices; and a final report sent to parents. Before the summer program
begins, each student is evaluated individually.
The daily program includes academic as well as social goals.
Classes are based on a 4 to 1 teacher ratio, with the classes for
younger students having even lower ratios. Final reports are given to
parents and to the school, if requested by the parent.
Information regarding enrollment in the Summer 2014 program will be posted in the spring.
