The Pala-Card is the official Furman University ID card for all students, faculty and staff. Each student is issued a photo ID card during Orientation to identify you as a member of the Furman community and to provide access to many of our campus facilities and services. Uses of the card include the following:

  • Student Identification card
  • Dining Services for meal plan
  • Building access card
  • Library card
  • Physical Activity Center access
  • Admission to cultural and intercollegiate athletic events

University ID cards are produced at the Enrollment Services, located in Suite 102 of the Alester G. Furman Administration Building. Cards may be obtained during normal office hours

Replacement cards are subject to a $20 fee.

ID Card Photos

Send us a photograph suitable for your Furman ID card and we will have your card ready for you when you arrive at our office. No waiting for us to take a mug shot of you!

The picture should be a front view of your head and shoulders (no hats or sunglasses). A wallet-size high school yearbook portrait usually fits our specifications well. We can not make an ID for you if the image you forward is not suitable. For new students, mail your photo by June 30th to:
