Sigma Tau Delta is the international English honorary society, founded in 1924 to promote interest in English literature and language around the globe. The Alpha Eta Eta chapter at Furman elects new members every year, chosen for their academic performance. We engage in service projects and sponsor interesting English-related events, such as film festivals, read-a-thons, and used book sales.
