Development Office
The Development Office is primarily responsible for raising funds to support university programs. The department Chair should communicate department needs for funds to the Development Office to determine whether it might assist in departmental fundraising efforts. Regardless of the extent of their assistance, all departmental fundraising programs must be coordinated through the Development Office.
The Development Office sometimes needs faculty to speak at alumni events, foundation board meetings, and in the community. Upon request, the department Chair should assist the Development Office in identifying appropriate faculty members to assist in this manner.
