Internship and Research Management
The chair should share pertinent internship opportunities with the
Office of Undergraduate Research and Internships. The chair must sign students’ applications to receive credit for their internship experience. If credit is requested, students are required to complete an
individualized instruction approval form listing a faculty member supervisor. The chair should carefully monitor to ensure that no single faculty member is overburdened by supervising internship experiences.
