Internal Grants: As a part of Furman's commitment to excellence in teaching and engagement in learning as well as support of professional activities and scholarship, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTEL) together with the Faculty Development Committee provides faculty with a matrix  https://ctl.furman.edu/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=55&Itemid=72 showing the availability of grant funds for the improvement, exploration and scholarship of teaching and learning, research and other professional activities. These grants are designed to support faculty in their explorations and growth as teacher-scholars.

External Grants: The Grant Administration Office on the second floor of the Administration Building is among the most important resources for assistance in developing grants and fellowships.  The Grants Administration Office must be consulted on the preparation and submission of any applications for external grants.  Its website is http://www.furman.edu/grants/index.htm
