Internships in Communication
Individualized Internships in Communication (Com 83) offers
internship opportunities for students in the field of communication. The course
gives students an opportunity to study the communicative practices employed in
such settings as a television station, newspaper publisher, business marketing
department, advertising agency, or public relations firm. The Communication
Studies Department has established a number of internship positions with
various facilities throughout the Greenville community and students can also
arrange for their own internship experience; however, such arrangements must be
approved by the internship academic advisor (Department Chair) to receive
academic credit for the internship. The course will be offered every Spring
Term and First Summer Session.
