Student and faculty engagement is an important part of what we do in the Center—and within the larger Furman community.  During the fall term, we facilitate a picnic gathering for students and faculty to discuss their vocational stories, consider questions about calling and direction, and learn from one another over a meal.  Following this gathering, we ask that students and faculty continue the conversations and relationships, in some way, throughout the year and their time at Furman. This is not only a chance for students to get to know faculty and staff better, but allows faculty and staff the opportunity to learn from, and walk with, students along their Furman and vocational journey.
