Peggy & Ed Good Lecture
Each semester, we host nationally or internationally significant theologians, public servants, thinkers, and writers through our lecture series. This series has enabled the Center to share resources, not only with students, faculty, and staff, but also with alumni, friends, and the Greenville community. We consider this kind of partnership with the community at large as part of Furman’s history and heritage.
The most recent Peggy & Ed Good Lecture was held at the Daniel Chapel on Furman's campus on April 6, 2017. Pádraig Ó Tuama, leader of the Corrymeela Community in Northern Ireland, shared his lecture entitled "Storytelling Can Heal the World."
