Dr. Veena Khandke started her teaching career at Mithibai College, in Mumbai, India. After graduating with a Ph.D. in human development from UC Davis, Khandke has taught interdisciplinary courses in Human Development, Psychology, Women and Gender Studies, Cultural Studies, Poverty Studies and Asian Studies at UC Davis, Middlebury College, USC Upstate, Greenville Technical College and Furman University.

Issues in Women & Gender Stds

Focus on both classical and contemporary issues in Women's and Gender Studies. Survey of feminist theory and historical developments in the women's movement, it provides a foundation for the understanding of contemporary women's issues, including education, family, health, religion, economics and politics.
