Furman was one of the first colleges to infuse its curriculum with
experiential learning, and today we offer exciting research, study away
and vocational opportunities. Every year, hundreds of our students
discover new cultures, or engage in a first-rate research experience.
Through these educational experiences, our students gain a greater
understanding of the global community and solve real-world problems.
